The Alaska Dream Center is an extensive one year live in program and residential home offered at no cost to those in need.
We exist and rely on donations from family, friends, businesses, churches, and organizations.
Currently we are open to men only; however, it will expand to include women at a later date.

We will accept your phone call to discuss your status 5-7 days after you have mailed your application. If you use e-mail, please give is 2 days to review your application then call the office.
The personal interview appointment is to discern if the man is truly ready to receive help and to determine how we can best meet his particular needs.
We require that a man be off drugs for at least three (3) days prior to the interview. We will NOT under any circumstances take men into the program who are intoxicated or under sedation. We do not allow pharmaceutical drugs, sleeping pills, or antidepressants.
Persons who require medical attention will not be accepted into the program as we are not prepared to meet special medical needs.
Each man is expected to bring toiletries such as towels, toothpaste ect. However, we can provide these things to individuals who are in need of them.
The most important factor to being admitted to AKDC is attitude. Is the applicant ready to radically change his lifestyle?
We thoroughly interview each person to see if he is ready to receive help. We have found through years of experience that we cannot help a man till he is ready to be helped on a body, mind, and spiritual level.
There is absolutely NO SMOKING and the use of any tobacco products is strictly prohibited.
